Advanced Rubber Guard: Pupper Master Pt. 5
“In this video we review the Riddler from the back, the Unforgiven and show a new triangle set up when the try to escape called the Cleveland. Then we show the Riddler from Mount and Side Control and the Unforgiven and Cleveland off of them. Filmed at 8th Street Gym, Grand Junction, Colorado. Jeff “The Wolverine” Barney and Felipe Soto “
More stuff from out boys in Grand Junction. I want the next video to be: “Attack of the 50 foot Puppet Master vs. Mega Tangled Up Control” This will be the battle for advanced rubber guard supremacy.
Jeff, what weight class do you compete in for MMA? You really ought to come out to LA for a week and train with us; I think a lot of guys would be interested in working on your stuff and I also think you could benefit from working with some of the 10th Planet Browns and Purples…
As usual, great stuff.
I usually compete at 155, sometimes 165. Wish I could come out, but my wife is expecting, and we are opening our new gym soon, so I’m pretty busy right now. Just as a side note, the last two nights that I rolled I was able to pull off the Unforgiven from PM 4, and the Cleveland that we show in this video. Is anyone else having luck with any of the stuff in our videos?

I don’t think it’s fair to compare the Pupper Master series to Tangled Up Control. The Puppet Master is actually practical lol
Thanks James,
I haven’t ruled out Tangle Up Control yet. I find Sanitarium to be higher percentage than Rubix Cube, so I think more subs from this position would be a good thing, I’m not sure if TUC is it or not though. I did hit a modified Carni from Sanitarium the other night though,

Puppet Master Part 6 is up, as well as a video we did off of the Rubix Cube a couple of weeks ago:
