Self-taught ADVANCED techniques: Introduction to the ELASTIC GUARD and the GOGOBAR.
February 17th, 2010 In Comedy | 12 CommentsThe elastic guard — born, bred and exclusive to The Lab — is for advanced self-taught martial artists only! Prepare to have your tiny minds blown.
P.S. — This is for basement warriors ONLY; if I hear ONE word about the elastic guard being used and abused in GYMS (aka PRISONS), then you better prepare yourself for a DOJO STORM that’ll leave zero survivors.

February 13th, 2010 In Comedy | 7 CommentsAs head coach of 10th Planet Burbank, and lead blogsmith of 10th Planet WatchI would like to wish everybody a merry Valen-times day. We got the crew together to say thank you for a spectacular year of spider webz, rubber guardses, and silly antics. With Einstein coaching on The Ultimate Fighter television series with Chuck Liddel this season, we had to find a replacement. I felt industry vet, Howard was the closest to the real thing we were going to find to the real thing. Ladies and Gentlemen, I’d like to present to you, the 16th annual Valen-times Day special.

February 9th, 2010 In MMA, News | 8 CommentsIt’s official, I’ll be going out to train with and coach Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy in preparation for his fight with George St. Pierre, March 27th. I have to admit, this maybe the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s a huge honor to have been asked to help Dan Hardy prepare for, quite possibly, the biggest fight of his career. I’m going to do everything in my power to see that Dan brings the belt back to the states, well, via Nottingham, U.K. at least.
I’ll be returning from teaching seminars two, soon to become 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu affiliates in Africa, just to fly right back out to New Jersey, where Dan is having his training camp. I’ll be out there for the last 3 weeks of his camp, until the fight. So, as you’re watching the fight on your color t.v., look for me in the background saying encouraging words and shaking my fist violently. I might even through up a little 10th Planet gang sign or 2. While I’m out in NJ, I’m going to try and keep a little vblog, to document the experience.
It’s been an amazing 2010 already, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me the rest of the year. I’m very thankful for the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu family, Eddie, and The Burbank Crew. I’ve received so much support from everyone, thanks to everybody for helping out!

Eddie Bravo “Don’t Hang Up On Me” episode 2 (part 2)
February 7th, 2010 In Comedy | 1 CommentAround 5 years ago I ordered Soma pain pills from an online pharmacy. Since then I’ve been getting bombarded with sales calls. At first I asked them nicely to remove me from their calling list but they never did. Then I decided to lie and tell ask them to remove me from their list because their calls were waking up my newborn baby. I totally thought pulling the sympathy card would work, but it didn’t. Then I decided to to annoy the hell out of them by putting them on hold forever and begging them not to hang up in hopes that they would remove me from their list. That didn’t work either. Then I started to put in gigantic orders with bogus credit card numbers. That didn’t work either. Now I decide to go into full mindf#ck mode by getting gay with them and taping it for my website. We’ll see how many episodes I can get out of them until they finally get so annoyed with me that they take me off their damn list 🙂
