Around 5 years ago I ordered Soma pain pills from an online pharmacy. Since then I’ve been getting bombarded with sales calls. At first I asked them nicely to remove me from their calling list but they never did. Then I decided to lie and tell ask them to remove me from their list because their calls were waking up my newborn baby. I totally thought pulling the sympathy card would work, but it didn’t. Then I decided to to annoy the hell out of them by putting them on hold forever and begging them not to hang up in hopes that they would remove me from their list. That didn’t work either. Then I started to put in gigantic orders with bogus credit card numbers. That didn’t work either. Now I decide to go into full mindf#ck mode by getting gay with them and taping it for my website. We’ll see how many episodes I can get out of them until they finally get so annoyed with me that they take me off their damn list 🙂

10th Planet Burbank’s rubber guard queen Rachel Tan dominating at Grappler’s quest World Series December 09. This is her last match of that day. This fight was third place and she dominated by points 10-0. Her first fight was also good and only lost by a point. Keep an eye out for this girl! she’s gonna blast through the competition scene in 2010.

In this video former UFC champion and Pride veteran Josh Barnett shows ways of ‘Snapping The Rubberguard’. The Rubberguard is a technique popularised and developed by JJ Machado blackbelt Eddie Bravo who made a name for himself submitting Royler Gracie by triangle. Rubberguard is a high half-closed guard used to keep an opponents posture broken and limits damage from ground strikes if used in MMA.
Rubberguard has not been without controversy especially for potential damage to your own knee if you’re not flexible enough or if not done correctly.
Barnett shows ways of attacking the Rubberguard when it is performed correctly, as well as attacking an attempted gogoplata (shin on throat choke) from this position.
