May 22nd, 2009 In Techniques | 10 Comments“This is basically an Electric Chair Sweep set up from standing. Ideally you want to have the Lockdown established and the underhooking arm switching to the leg before you ever start to fall to your back. Filmed at 8th Street Gym in Grand Junction, Colorado. Jeff “The Wolverine” Barney, Brian Lamgo, filmed by Cameron Thurgood. www.8thstreetgym.com”
Electric Chair Submission in Competition.
April 9th, 2009 In Tournaments | 22 Comments“Chris Jones who train at Island MMA and 10th Planet Victoria (Sub 101) gets the tap via the electric chair. He was DQed for this however because the organizers were unsure what it was and said it was a crotch ripper. This was in the 187 advanced too where almost everything was legal-except 10th Planet it seems.”
Electric Chair>Dipset>Dogfight>Half & Half>Limp Arm>Wushu>Side Cntl
December 1st, 2008 In Techniques | 2 CommentsThis one is a little nutty, try to follow along in cave man terms. Man goes for electric chair. The opponent counters by pushing back. Man counters this by using the “Dipset”, which is using the momentum to swing under, and get up to his knees. Man then tries to use the Half and Half to sweep. The opponent counters with a strong whizzer. Man then uses the limp arm, does a wushu pass, and moves to side control.
Technique to counter to counter to counter to infinity.

Eddie Bravo: The Electric Chair Half Guard Sweep/Submission
August 27th, 2008 In Techniques | 1 CommentThis is probably my best half guard sweep. I hit this more than anything. There are a lot of options if one chooses to go to Stoner Control from it; I’m partial to the calf crank.
